It's been a tough week. Right before Thanksgiving Ali cut her first tooth (bottom). We didn't even know it was there until I spotted it! This week, she is working on toothie number 2, and she has let us know all about it! She's had a tough week with upset tummy, fever, and lots of fussing. Tonight with a good dose of Motrin, we caught a glipse of our usual silly, silly Ali.
We had our Thanksgiving at Mema's in Ballinger as usual. So much food, and we had to try it all!! There's no place like home, there's no place like home...Ali was carried around by everyone, and she already likes hanging with her older girl cousins Alyse and Savanna, who are both growing up so fast and are just strikingly beautiful. Avery had fun searching for field mice and barely ate, but had a blast running around with his cousin, "Little B". Ali ate 2 jars of baby food, stuffing, rolls, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumkin pie, chocolate pie, and cheesecake. The apple didn't fall far from the tree. We were shocked since she's never really eaten adult food before, but she would barely let us eat, or I should say, she barely let my parents eat!! After eating at Mema's, we headed over to Jason's Grandma's house and yep...ate again. Ali apparently had a little too much grown up food because she started fussing a little and then projectile vomitted everything. This was the first sign of the flu that we all came down with this week. No fun AT ALL!!! We're all well now. Ali is still out of sorts, but she's getting better.
Avery is diligently working on wish lists for Christmas. I have put him on Amazon.com and created a wish list for him to post to. I'll have to go back on and create a name for it or something so maybe others could view it. He is asking for spy type items and erector sets, and robots.
